2006/sweetday

A sweet day
despite the saws.
The clouds bring a quiet
that the sun scares off.
Blops of rain
drive the floor installers
to the sheltered side of the deck.
I put down rugs on the new floor.
They keep working,
I sit on the sofa
and wait.
